How can I become involved?
Becoming a Participant
Host an Exhibition
This is Trans is a project built upon promoting inclusion and education for the transgender community. Being transgender simply means that a person does not identify their gender with the one they were assigned at birth. This validates all transgender individuals binary and nonbinary alike. All transgender individuals are welcome and encouraged to participate, regardless of age, body size, religion, culture, skin color, etc.
To be a participant in this project, all you need to do is reach out and schedule a FREE portrait session. I am based in Columbus, Ohio and have a home studio available for use, or portraits can be taken at a location of your choice. For those who are not located near Columbus, please follow along on social media to keep track of my travel schedule. I will host FREE open portraits in the cities where I have an exhibition.
For those who have participated in the past, you can update your portrait for FREE. All you need to do is schedule a portrait session with me. These updates are great for those who have had gender confirming hormone replacement or gender surgeries.

The This is Trans project is currently scheduling exhibitions all over North America; for all types of Organizations.
Non-Profit LGBTQIA+ Centers
If your center and organization would like to host an in-person exhibition, please reach out to schedule a call to discuss options. Support is need to help bring the exhibition to your city; this includes the cost of printing the images, purchasing frames, and travel and lodging costs. Costs vary depending on the size of the exhibition and location of the exhibition
Businesses and Companies
Would your business/company like to show your support for the project and possibly host an exhibition? I am now offering sponsorship packages with Franklinton Arts District. These packages vary in cost; which can include professional DEI and LGBTQIA+ Inclusion trainings for employees, as well as exhibitions at your location. Becoming a sponsor is a great way for your business to show they stand with the transgender community, espically now as LGBTQ+ rights are being stripped away all over the country. Currently 49 out of 50 states in the United States has proposed or passed laws to remove LGBTQIA+ rights in health care, education, and more.
